I haven’t run for a week as I’m trying to recover from a shin splint. It hasn’t been painful for nearly the full week so I’m going to try an easy run tomorrow morning.

I’ll immediately start the Hanson’s 18-week beginners marathon program to prep for QQQ Half on Thanksgiving. The weekly mileage at the beginning of that program is light enough that I think I can build up my strength without risking another overuse injury. It’s much lighter than I ran in June.
