On again, off again…

I had to be up at 3:00 am yesterday, so my run was pushed to the evening. Five steps in, I knew it just wasn’t going to happen. My legs and lungs were just dead. The combination of little sleep and too few calories really caught up with me.

This morning’s run wasn’t great but good enough.

I need to place a greater focus on a few things:

  1. A consistent eight hours of sleep with a constant bedtime and waking up time. 8:30 to 4:30 with no cell phone.

  2. Diet. I need to balance losing weight with fueling my body.

  3. Rest days.

This process is a good one. It can’t be rushed. It teaches patience and persistence.
