Progress

I went out this morning and set an Old Man PR for the 440, 880, 1k, 1 mile, 2 mile, 5k, and 4 miles. I can’t be proud of the times but it’s remarkable progress after only a month of consistent running.

Afterwards, I weighed in at 174 pounds; a weight I probably haven’t been this century. And I bought a pair of jeans with a 32 inch waist this week; down from 38 inches.

My times are improving at a rapid pace I find surprising. The weight loss has definitely slowed but it’s one to two pounds a week so I can’t complain.

Really pleased with how good I’m feeling during my runs. Today, I was actually able to press in an effort to hit splits. A week ago I didn’t have another gear but now I do.
